Evelyn Jean Buchanan Cameron
Evelyn Jean Buchanan Cameron, “Tootsie”, 84, widow of the late James A. Cameron, died Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the Harrison Memorial Hospital, Cynthiana, KY.
A native of Paris, KY, she was the daughter of the late Everett “Papy” and Georgia Puckett Buchanan. She was a retired nurse at the Veteran’s Administration, was of the Nazarene faith, loved to watch game shows, the Golden Girls show, and Lifetime movies.
She is survived by two children, Lynn (Terry) Snapp and Mark Curtis; nine grandchildren, Jinger (Tommy) Ballinger, Josh (Maria) Snapp, Samantha (Ryan) Churrick, Jenny (Wes) Hunt, Kevin James Curtis, Daniel Clark (Terri) Curtis, Elijah Ray Curtis, Michael (Megan) Curtis, and Jason (Delanna) Curtis; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Pauline Condon and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Mike Curtis and two sisters, Shirley Ladd and Edith Evans.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Michael Clyburn.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of service on Tuesday, February 14th at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Michael Curtis, Jason Curtis, Josh Curtis, Daniel Curtis, Elijah Curtis, and Cameron Mann.
Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
