Arthur Lewis Carpenter
Arthur Lewis Carpenter, 92, widow of the late Viola Templin Carpenter, died Monday June 5, 2023, in North Middletown, KY.
He was the son of the late John William and Martha Eldridge Carpenter. Arthur was a former dairy and tobacco farmer and a construction worker for Agriculture. He was also a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by five children, Peggy Barbee, Rosie (Tim) Johnson, Harry (Dawn) Carpenter, Douglas Carpenter and Daniel Carpenter; 29 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Joey Barbee; two great grandchildren, Tristan Campbell and Winter Raven Brewer; three sisters, Mary Hutchison, Geneva Durham and Thelma Setter and one brother, Brooks Carpenter.
Services will be conducted at a later date.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
