Richard Rankin

Richard Rankin, 58, died Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Clark Regional Hospital, Winchester Ky.
Richard was born March 11, 1965, in Paris, KY to the late Donald Ray (Duck) and Barbara Jean Byrd Rankin of Millersburg. He was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include his brother, Steven Rankin and Kim (Bobby) McCord of Millersburg as well as several nieces and a special friend Buddy Mynear also of Millersburg.
He was a graduate of Bourbon County High School and was a member of the Son’s of American Legion post 257 for 38 years. He worked in Industrial Maintenance.
Services were conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Pruitt Funeral Home 303 Main Street, Millersburg Ky. Visitation was from 11:00 am till the time of service at the funeral home. The Family will officiate the services by speaking on the memories of Richard.
Pallbearers were Donald Lukins, Ritchie Burkhardt, Eric House, Bobby McCord, David Byrd and Steven L. Rankin.
Honorary pallbearers were Buddy Mynear, Gayle Wilson, Donnie Dampier, Ronnie Dampier, and Mike Dampier as well as the Son’s of the American Legion.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Pruitt Funeral Home to help the family with burial cost.
