Dorothy Frances Hatton

Dorothy Frances Hatton, age 78, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Good Samaritan Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born March 19, 1945 in Newtown, Kentucky, daughter of the late Robert Darnell and Marguerite Glenne Brumagen Planck. Frances had worked several jobs, salesclerk at J.C. Penney, factory work, waitress, but none was more cherished by her than her role as a mother and caregiver to others. In her spare time, Frances enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, listening to country music, and playing old video games.
She is survived by her four children, Beverly (the late Troy) Martin, Billy (Sherie) Hatton, Roy (Martha) Hatton Jr., Cathy Susie (Brian) Williamson; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 11 siblings.
Visitation was at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 3, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Paris Cemetery Chapel with Johnny Plummer officiating.
Casket bearers will be Billy Hatton, Roy Hatton, Brian Williamson, A.J. Springate, Troy Martin, Tyler Lawson, James House, Brian House, and Doug Planck.
Honorary bearers will be Tim Hughes, Hank Williamson, Michael Hatton, Travis Honaker, Joseph Madison, Jeremy Jolly, and Micheal Shelby. www.hintonturner.com
