Nancy Jane Barton
Nancy Jane Barton, 89, widow of the late Burley Lee Barton, died Sunday October 1, 2023, at Central Baptist Hospital.
Nancy was preceded in death by both parents, several brothers, and sisters, three daughters, Susie Mitchell, Edna Herrington, and Dorothy Shaw, one granddaughter Tanya Willis.
She leaves behind daughter Dovie Smith, son Kenneth Barton (Judy Long), fourteen grandchildren Jerimy Willis, Tammy Neal, Nancy Long, Burley W Barton, Krystal Long, Whitney Hernandez, Erica Santos, Abby Noah, April Noah, Dale Monroe, David Myers, Brian Leonard, Bradley Herrington, and Chuck Herrington. Several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A host of many other family members and friends.
A special thank you to the Nursing Staff of fifth floor North, Central Baptist Hospital for treating and taking such great care of our mother and grandmother.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, October 6, 2023 at the M.E. Pruitt Funeral Home, 303 Main St., Millersburg, KY by Bro. Wayne Tolson. Burial will be in the Millersburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Thursday, October 5, 2023 at M.E. Pruitt Funeral Home.
