Rachel Catherine Plummer Johnson

Rachel Catherine Plummer Johnson, 103, passed away Sunday October 8, 2023, at the Bourbon Heights Nursing Home, Paris, KY.

She was born in Lexington, KY to the late Samuel Arnold Plummer and the late Nina Grinnell Plummer.  Rachel was a retired Clerical Supervisor at the Bourbon County Health Department.  She was also a member of the Paris First Methodist Church and was an avid reader.

Survivors include, one son, Eugene B. (Grace) Johnson, Jr.; one daughter, Kay Johnson; three grandchildren, Bradford (Rachel) Johnson, Annie (John) Pizzato and John Johnson; three great grandchildren, Adalind Johnson, Cecelia Johnson and George Pizzato and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Plummer and James Plummer and four sisters, Adeline Mefford, Martha Mefford, Pearl Munson and Gladys Day.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday October 17, 2023, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Ken Southgate.  Burial will follow in the Paris Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Tuesday October 17, 2023, until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bradford Johnson, John Johnson, Johnny Plummer, Jack Plummer, Reggie Monson and David Mefford.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Paris First Methodist Church, 617 Pleasant St., Paris, KY 40361
