Ann Parris Broaddus

Ann Parris Broaddus, formerly of Paris, Kentucky died at Baptist Health Lexington on November 2, 2023. Born on December 15, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Bosley C. Parris and the late Alleen Ewalt Parris. Ann is the widow of Omer Broaddus, who died in 2001. Her brother Bosley C. “Sonny” Parris, Jr. and her sister, Jane Parris Sullivan preceded her in death as well.

She is survived by her niece, Kathy Sullivan; two nephews, Danny and Kevin Sullivan; a great niece, Becky Fritz; and a great nephew, Daniel Sullivan. Also surviving is a great great nephew, Andrew Fritz; a great, great niece, Caroline Fritz; cousins, Jeanette Hughes, Sue Clay, and Mary Bennett Case.

As a retiree of AT&T, Ann started her telephone career working as an operator, then in the Paris business office, and later in Lexington as well as Frankfort, Kentucky.

Recently, she had been a resident of Willows at Fritz Farm in the assisted living section. While there she met and made many friends and felt close to and extremely fond of the staff.

Visitation for Ann was scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home on November 7, 2023, with interment to immediately followed in Paris cemetery. www.hintonturner.com
