Thelma Lillian Holland Gaunce
Thelma Lillian Holland Gaunce, age 89, of Lexington, widow of Jesse B. Gaunce, departed this life on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Northpoint Lexington Healthcare. Thelma was born in Bourbon County on October 6, 1934, the daughter of the late Emery and Nannie Payne Holland, attended the Clintonville school system, and was a member of Bryan Station Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Ann Morris; a sister, Ruth Holland; brothers, Charles Holland, Kerman and wife Barbara Holland; as well as a son-in-law, Larry Miller.
Surviving is a daughter, Carolyn Faye Miller; grandchildren, Jessica Muddiman, Summer Bearse, and Wayne Miller. Also surviving are great grandchildren, Kassydi Muddiman, Kalieb Miller, Cashton Bearse, Emily Cuzik, Abby Cuzik; a sister-in-law, Ann Holland; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Thelma Lillian Holland Gaunce was at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. with Bro. Brent Spears officiating. Interment immediately followd in Paris cemetery. Visitation was from 11:30 a.m. until time for the service.
