Timothy D. Duff

Timothy D. Duff died Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at his residence in Paris, Ky. He had been a resident of Paris for over twenty years and called Paris home.

Born In Valley Station, Ky. he was the son of Leslie Duff, Jr. and Vicky Emerson. He is survived by one son, Timothy D. Duff, Jr. of Pikeville, Ky. Tim was an avid University of Kentucky basketball and football fan as well as NFL football. He loved to play golf, fishing, playing cards, and working puzzles, very often two at a time. One of his favorite past times was playing corn hole with his close friends the Argo family of Paris., Ky. He fondly called them his second family.

He was employed at the Housing Authority of Paris for over twenty years and he will be missed by his co-workers and the residents of the Housing Authority of Paris. Tim will be remembered as a very hard worker who was proficient at painting, drywall work, and many other trades associated with renovation work.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Duff, Jr., his mother Vicky Emerson, and his stepfather Johnny Emerson. Tim is survived by his siblings, Cynthia Thorp, Jamie Taylor, Kevin Taylor, Jason Taylor, Greg Taylor, Brandon Taylor, and Tamela Taylor and nieces, Faith Nino and Leslie Keown. He is also survived by his beloved dog Rusty, who was well known by many Paris residents by their frequent walks up and down Main Street.

Services are pending at Heritage Funeral Home in Louisville Ky.
