Norma Sue Flora Ritchie

Norma Sue Flora Ritchie, passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 84 in Lexington, KY. She was born on October 10, 1939, in Cynthiana, KY.

Sue was a dedicated homemaker and babysitter for several years, bringing warmth and care to those around her. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her family, touching the lives of many children she cared for.

In her free time, Sue enjoyed bass fishing, playing bingo, sipping on diet Pepsi, smoking cigarettes, and chatting on the phone with her beloved family and friends. Her lively spirit and love for socializing will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, John W. Ritchie; two daughters, Regina “Jeannie” (Allen) Finch and Becky (Daryl) Kelly; three grandchildren, Jonathan (Robbie) Ritchie, Matthews Sexton and Cassie Sexton; two great grandchildren, Tyler Dawn Ritchie and Kaddin Ritchie; one great grandchild, Sienna K. Ritchie; four step grandchildren, Todd Finch, Courtney Finch, Morgan Kelly and Matty B. Kelly; one step great grandchild, AnnLee Rittenberry; two sisters, Nancy Fryman and Mary Alice Turner; two special friends, Pam Ritchie and Peggy Williams; caregiver, Kenzei Simpson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Allen and Nellie Mae Howard Flora; four brothers, Jim Flora, Eugene Flora, Shearle Flora and Clarence Flora, Jr. and two sisters, Gladys Earlywine and Helen Flora.

Funeral services in memory of Sue will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 5, 2024, at the ME Pruitt Funeral Home, located at 303 Main St., Millersburg, KY. The Reverend Brenda Routt will officiant the service. Visitation will take place from 5:00 PM until the start of the funeral service at the funeral home.
