Betty Louise Kerns Bussell

Betty Louise Kerns Bussell, 82, wife of the late Floyd W. Bussell, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at her home in Paris.
Born May 28, 1941 in Bath Co. to the late J. Neal and Anna Frances Garrett Kerns she was a member of Moorefield Christian Church. A dedicated homemaker, Betty’s life was devoted to her family.

Survivors include her children Mike (Elizabeth) Mattox, of Carlisle, Marsha Mattox of Louisville, Kirk (Adelaide) Mattox of Georgetown, Christel (Roger Berry, Jr.) Bussell Roberts of Paris and Brad (Andrea) Bussell of Paris; her beloved grandchildren, Blake (Sarah) Roser, Ben (Kylie Kwiatt) Mattox, Paige (Andrew) Willis, Lainey (Victor) Piwleski, Michael (Khela Castle) Reid, Connor Wayne Roberts, Joseph Mattox and Presley and Cashton Bussell; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Miri, Lily, Ellis, Lennox Pierce, Hayden and Lyla; her brother, David Kerns of Ft. Myers, FL; a special cousin, Leanna Dixon along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Also preceding her in death were 4 brothers, Clyde, Bobby, Gerald and Jimmy Kerns and a sister, Carolyn Murray.

Services were held 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 10th at Carlisle Christian Church by Rev Steve Smith with burial following in Carlisle Cemetery.

Casketbearers were her grandsons and Raymond Roberts.

Honorary bearers were Dennis Allison, Doug Garrett and Steve, Gary and Jimmie Lee Kerns.

Visitation was after 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the church.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Moorefield Christian Church and Carlisle Christian Church.
