Lois Mae Cain Snapp

Lois Mae Cain Snapp age 85, of Cynthiana, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024. She was born in Claysville, KY on January 11, 1939, to the late Arthur Cain and Goldie Webber Cain Batte. Lois was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allen Snapp, and grandson, Travis Wigglesworth.
Through their many years of dairy farming, Lois and Charlie were exceptionally recognized for superior farming practices, conservation efforts, and dedicated animal husbandry practices. They earned their junior awards and honors from visitors who were interested in improving their own farming practices. The University of Kentucky’s agricultural department organized several educational farm tours, as their farming operation exceeded the expectations of the rapid adjustment program directed by UK.
She is survived by her children, Steve (Jo Ann) Snapp, Barry (Kimberly) Snapp, Lisa Snapp, and Art (Rebecca) Snapp; grandchildren, Chad Snapp, Austin Snapp, Erica Shadd, Jamie Snapp, Matt Wigglesworth, Justin Snapp, and James Snapp; great-grandchildren, Jared Snapp, Jenna Snapp, Carter Wigglesworth, Haven Barnett, Jaxson Snapp, Harper Snapp, and Zoey Honeycutt.
Funeral services will be on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Ware Funeral Home with visitation Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. also at Ware Funeral Home. Bro. Kevin Strausbaugh will preside over services, with burial in Battle Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chad Snapp, Austin Snapp, James Snapp, Justin Snapp, Matt Wigglesworth, and Jared Snapp. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Harrison County, P.O.
