Alberto Hernandez
On Tuesday, September 24th, Alberto Hernandez (54), loving husband of Jeannette Strader Hernandez, passed away at Albert B. Chandler Hospital after a tragic bicycling accident. He was a dedicated father with a never quit attitude which he instilled in his three wonderful children, Ethan Alberto (22), Kylie Diane (19), and Ava Rosa (16). Always looking at life with a joyous attitude, he took pride in his work as a horseman at Godolphin on Stonerside Farm.
Alberto was an avid hiker and runner and enjoyed helping the Bourbon County Track and Field Team. He loved cooking, nature, wildlife, and all of the dogs and cats he owned over the years. He will be remembered as a generous, empathetic man who reminded everyone around him to always strive to become better versions of themselves.
Alberto was one of eight children of Ausencio Hernández Flores (deceased) and Rosa Rodríguez Baheña. He is predeceased by his brother Julío (Leanor). He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews of his siblings Nicéforo (Emperatriz), Marina (Rafael), Arturo (Patricia), Gricelda (Efren), Roselia (Juan), and Alejandro (Erendira). He is also survived by his mother in-law Diane Strader Miner (Arthur), and his two sister in-laws Sharon Davis (Rob) and Christina Beauregard (Patrick) and their two children.
