Earl Thomas David, Jr.

Earl Thomas David, Jr., aged 56, a spirited and compassionate man, departed this life on December 22, 2024, at his residence in Winchester, KY. Born on August 7, 1968, in Lexington, KY, he was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and partner, known for his selflessness and adventurous spirit.
He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love, survived by his cherished children, Earl Thomas David, III, Ashley David, Jessie Cole, and Wesley Clay (Ofelia Miranda) David; his adoring grandchild, Kaedence Neal; and his devoted girlfriend, Cindy Bledsoe. He will also be fondly remembered by his sisters, Tina Gonzalez and Rebecca Lynn Perry, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss his humorous and warm presence.
Preceding him in passing were his wife, Amy C. Toadvine David, and his parents, Earl Thomas David, Sr. and Linda Williams David.
An enthusiast of the great outdoors, Earl relished moments spent fishing and camping. He was a master at working jig saw puzzles, enjoyed antiquing, and was an avid movie watcher. His joy for life was most evident when surrounded by family and friends, particularly when grilling at family gatherings, where his funny anecdotes and zest for life were infectious.
Earl Thomas David, Jr.’s memory will be sustained in the countless stories of his adventures and in the love he shared with all who knew him.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 PM Monday December 30, 2024, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Monte Wilkinson. Burial followed in the Paris Cemetery.
Visitation was from 11:00 AM Monday December 30, 2024, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Taylor Perkins, Jessie Ruiz, Marco Ruiz, Sammy Diaz, Tony Martin and Brent Toadvine. Honorary pallbearers were Dakota Fields, Jessie Cole, Esteban Miranda and Johnathan Arguello.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
