Mattie Lou Mason

Mattie Lou Mason, age 94, of Paris, departed this life on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Mattie was born in Bourbon County on February 17, 1930, the daughter of the late Howard T. and Bertie Fletcher Mason, was a graduate of North Middletown High School, was retired from Lerman Brothers where she worked as a salesclerk and was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Turner.
Surviving are two nephews, William H. “Bill” Turner, Don (Shelly) Turner; great nephews Dalton Turner, Destin Turner, Caelan Turner, and Dan Willard. Also surviving is a great great niece, Lydia Turner and a great great nephew, Braedynn Willard.
Visitation for Mattie Lou Mason will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Jeff Bell. Interment to follow in North Middletown Cemetery with casket bearers being her nephews.
