Jack Lynn McCracken

It is with broken hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Lynn McCracken (1953-2021), loving husband, daddy, papaw, and friend. The beloved son of the late Robert McCracken and Marjorie Hatton. He was born on July 4th, 1953, in Paris, KY. A graduate of Bourbon County High School, he went on to join the US Army as a Specialist Four working in communications and electronic repairs. He continued his education at the University of Kentucky studying business and found his passion building and remodeling homes in both Kentucky and Florida. He spent years working for the community with the Kiwanis Club. He loved golf, poker, shooting pool, the Florida Gators, NASCAR, and above all else his family, friends, and dog Gator.

Though preceded in death by his parents, brothers Mark and Sharon “Trooper” McCracken, step-father Harold Hatton, aunt AnnaBess “Bessie” Sharon, uncle Doug and aunt Delta McCracken, he leaves to cherish his memory wife Debbie McCracken, daughters Heather (Ryan) Tomi, Amy McCracken (Rachel Bussell), Valerie (Dewayne) Campbell, Lana Muzio, son Kenneth (Jeannie) Buckler, grandchildren Dustin (Shauna) Campbell, William Ross, Tiffanie Campbell, Kenadi Buckler, Nicholas Muzio, Kenzie Buckler, Mia Muzio, Jacob Buckler, great-grandchildren Ayden Woods, Kinaleigh Woods and Kilean Francis, sister-in-law Faye McCracken, special friends Joe and Betty Kramer, and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

He loved his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He had a great smile and warm laugh that matched his witty, jokester personality. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at The Livery located at 226 Pleasant Avenue in Paris, KY, on November 23, 2021 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The family wishes memorial contributions be made to March of Dimes or St. Jude.
