Harold “Tommy Hatton, 68, passed away June 28, 2022. Tommy was the oldest son born to the late Charles Harold and Emily Shanks Hatton Jefferson. He was born J

anuary 4, 1954, in Paris, KY. Tommy was born and raised in Paris, where he met and married Deborah, “Debbie” Sue Murray on August 10, 1979.
To this union was born four children and he was a devoted husband and loving father of 42 years. He retired from CMC/CLA where he worked for more than 20 years and developed many lasting friendships. Tommy enjoyed talking to people and never knew a stranger. He was a faithful member of Fayette Chapel United Baptist Church. Tommy loved fishing, antique car shows, playing guitar and spending quality time with friends and family. He especially enjoyed every moment with his grandchildren who brought such joy and never failed to make him laugh.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah, their four children: Jennifer Marie Hatton, Joseph Thomas (Jeanette) Hatton, Christina Lynn Hatton and “Alexander James Hatton, all of Paris, KY; five grandchildren; Patrick Allen Lee (Briana) Tubbs, Kherington Blake Hatton, Waverly Star Hatton, Carter Thomas Cunliffe and Isabella Grace Cunliffe of Paris, KY.
He is also survived by one brother, David (Vicky) Hatton, Paris, KY and many extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Harold and Emily Shanks Hatton Jefferson.
Visitation and services were held from 11:00 AM TO 1:000 PM, Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Fayette Chapel United Baptist Church, 150 Skyview Dr., Pairs, KY. Elder C, J. Murray officiated with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Hatton, Joseph Hatton, Patrick Tubbs, Clark Murray, Steve Clark, and Jacob Coburn. Honorary pallbearers were Alex Hatton, Willie Murray, Gary Burke, Mike Purcell and Jerald Ryan. Rolan G. Taylor was in charge of arrangements.
