Georgia Ann Elliott Hutchcraft

Georgia Ann Elliott Hutchcraft, age 75, mother of Winn Elliott Hutchcraft and retired medical technologist at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center and Saint Joseph East Hospital, died Saturday, April 1, 2023. She was born April 15, 1947, in Danville, Kentucky, daughter of the late George and Maurine Coffey Elliott. Ann was a graduate of Casey County High School and received her bachelor’s degree in medical technology from the University of Kentucky.
Ann was a friend to many and social secretary and planner of events, big or small, for her group of friends and family. She was an avid fan of all U.K. sports, men’s and women’s basketball, football, volleyball, gymnastics, track and field, softball, and baseball. Ann enjoyed gardening, traveling, activities with friends, shopping, and reading. She was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Bourbon County Garden Club, and Bourbon County Homemakers.
She is survived by a son, Winn Elliott Hutchcraft; sister, Susan Hoskins; two nieces, Amanda Wesley and Mary Frances Durham; and extended family.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023 at the First Christian Church with Rev. Jeff Bell officiating, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to First Christian Church, 911 High Street, Paris, KY 40361; PAWS, 6 Legion Rd, Paris, KY 40361; Markey Cancer Center, 800 Rose Street, Lexington, KY 40536; or Bluegrass Hospice Care, 1317 KY Highway 62E, Cynthiana, KY 41031. Hinton-Turner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
