Kevin Scott Vest
Kevin Scott Vest, 57, died Thursday May 25, 2023 at the Hospice of Hope, Maysville, KY.
He was the son of the late Jewell Ray Vest, Sr. and the late Willie Jean Hisle Vest. Kevin was an avid bowler on league teams for several years and loved anything to do with music or singing, especially playing his guitar and listening to rock and roll songs. He also enjoyed watching tv and loved Elvis Presley, whom he would dress like on every Halloween.
He is survived by one brother, Jewell Ray (Jennifer Jo) Vest, Jr.; three nephews, Joshua Ray (Stephanie) Vest, James Anthony (Kathryn) Vest and Justin (Lauren) Vest; two great nieces, Evelyn Jean Vest and Lydia Jane Vest; one great nephew, Silas Garrett Vest; two aunts, Martha Helen (Woodrow Franklin) Mullins and Elizabeth Martin and several cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday May 27, 2023, at the Highlands Baptist Church, 2032 Parallel Rd., Lexington, KY 40511 by Bro. Tim Smith. Burial to follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park, Lexington, KY.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Saturday May 27, 2023, until the hour of service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Ray Vest, Stephanie Vest, James Anthony Vest, Kathryn Vest, Justin Vest and Lauren Vest.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Dr., Maysville, KY 41056.
