Perry Gene Myers

Perry Gene Myers passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at his home. Perry was a Bourbon County native born to the late Edith Mae Reed and Farmer Myers, Jr. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
He was an avid reader and die-hard fan of the Kentucky Wildcats and the Cincinnati Bengals. As his family and friends said, he was ‘the best of the best, one of a kind, brightened a room, and had the biggest and sweetest heart”.
He graduated from Bourbon County High School, Class of 1974 and then served in the United States Navy. He worked in farm maintenance for Arco Farms and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by two children, Laurel Myers and Taylor Myers; four grandchildren, Colton Myers, Skylar Brady, Georgia Bouchard, and Charlotte “Charlie” Price; two sisters, Judy (Phillip) Crumbie and Sally (Dennis) Chiles; one aunt, Pauline (Sam) Condon; two nephews, D.J. Chiles and Phillip Crumbie II; one niece, Nicole Crumbie; a host of cousins and friends; bonus brother, Mark Rimer; bonus son, Luke Davis; bonus daughter, Ashley Jacobs and his three dogs, Bug, Bear, and Fish.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ronda Jo Myers; one daughter, Aimee Mesmar and his three bonus brothers, Cary Rimer, Charlie B. Rimer, and Gary Rimer, Jr.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the River of Life Ministries, 616 Clintonville Road, Paris, KY by Rev. William Allen.
The arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
